The Privada Family Blend 2016 story
The story of this wine is very interesting for me. At first, this wine was reserved only for Privada family. Later, it was released after the Swarovski family requested the best and special wine for enjoying with their friends. The winery’s oldest vineyards, between 50 to 90 years old have produced the grapes for wine blending. The best barrel of Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon was selected for blending this wine, which have a harmonious, complex and elegant blend.

Harvest season of grapes
The 2016 is a coolest vintage in the thirty years due to ‘El Niño’ phenomenon, making the snowfall throughout the year. The weather was characterized by dry and cool temperature, producing low yield and shortening the harvest season. Originally, the vineyards were a dry farmed, which produced wines with very high natural acidity and low alcohols, in the range of 12%-13%.
How was its taste?
The Privada Family Blend has deep red blend with rich aromas of berries fruit such as black berry. The taste is smooth and full bodied of wine. 30% Cabernet Sauvinon and 30% Merlot making this wine is superb taste. Dense with layer of herb and black berries.
